"Good. Ooh, thanks." she siad, taking the cup. "Are you about done with finals?"

Elizabeth shook her head. "I'll be about half way through by the end of the day," she said. "I'll be handing in my foreign lit paper next period, political campaigning presentation before lunch and psychology project after lunch. Which actually makes it more than half way through."

"My God, that's a lot of coursework." she said, taking a sip. "How have you enjoyed taking Josh? He's the best, you know. For all I pick on him...he's really amazing."

Elizabeth shrugged, and grinned slightly sheepishly. "I prefer to have more to do than less," she said. "He's been great, yeah. I've been taking US Government with him too, to see it how he does. Although he can't dance to save his life, I found out!"

"That's the truth. But, yeah, Josh has a passion for politics like no one else. You've had a great opportunity this term, learning from him. When you run for Senator...get him at least as a consultant. Josh likes to win."

She set the box on the floor and picked up another.

"So...summer plans?"

Elizabeth sipped at her coffee and laughed slightly. "I think everyone in this school is convinced that I'm going to run for public office," she said lightly. "I would love to work with him though out in the 'real world'."

She shrugged. "Whatever they've got on here for the summer camp," she said. "Janet and I are probably going to check out some colleges at some point, and I think we've persuaded Sam to come as well."

"I think you've got what it takes, E. You'd be a terrific public servant. Heck, you'll do great no matter what. What colleges are you looking at? I'm bound to recommend Notre Dame for the rest of my life, so there you go with that."

"Thanks, CJ, I appreciate that," Elizabeth smiled. "I'm mostly looking at the Ivy League; Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Brown and Cornell. I think Janet and I are aiming to go to the same school, or at the very least, be geographically close to one another."

"It helps to have friends close by, that's for sure. What are you going to major in?"

"The plan is to be really boring and do political science again," Elizabeth grinned. "Although this time I'll add government instead of international relations what with my school choices."

"Make sure you throw some communcation studies in there. The field of PoliComm is expolding. Really."

Elizabeth nodded slowly. "Yeah, I'm thinking about thinking of law school as well this time around," she said. "So any communication work would be good for that."

"With that kind of ambition, I cna't believe you won't do great things, E. It'll be one of those things when I'm old and gray and a tv crew will come ask me what you were like back when..." she laughed softly.

Elizabeth joined in with the laughter. "Well, if I'm ever asked about who they should talk from my past, I'll definitely send them your way," she said.

"I'll be sure to spin you well, Elizabeth." she said with an affectionate smile.

Elizabeth looked down at her coffee, and then back up at CJ. "Thank you," she said simply. She's not just thanking her for that.

"Vous êtes bienvenu, E. Merci beaucoup, de tout."

Setting aside the boxes and tape, she rounded the desk and wrapped her arms around Elizabeth. "I'm going to miss you, you know?"

Elizabeth's arms closed around CJ. "I'm going to miss you as well," she said quietly.

"I'll only be a phone call away, Elizabeth. Really. You need me, I'll be around." she said, squeezing tighter. "Besides, I seem to remember something about vodka and Russian lessons."

"Thank you," Elizabeth said quietly, managing to smile. She laughed slightly as she pulled away. "Anytime. And who knows? Maybe our paths will cross again?"

"You're welcome. I don't doubt we'll meet up again. Maybe at Harvard!"

"That's always a possibility," Elizabeth nodded, smiling. "I'd be certain to take another class from you."

"I'd be happy to have you. But teaching at Harvard? I'm not that dull."

"Well, I never thought I'd end up teaching at Georgetown, so there we have it," Elizabeth grinned.

"It's funny how things work out, huh?" she grinned before taking another sip. "One thing I've learned from this place...never say never."
