"My thanks to Jane and Raiden for taking over the team-building exercises while I was--" there was a long, awkward pause, "--indisposed."

As a cat. An angry, gray cat.

"But I am myself again and eager to resume our activities!"

Even if said activities looked suspiciously like giant cat toys. Sometimes it was harder to shake off the transformations than others. "You will run in teams through this obstacle course--" of giant cat toys, "--and then get tuna for a reward."

He blinked, catching that part as being not quite correct.

"And then you shall receive no reward other than the satisfaction of a job well done!"

Better!

"Listen for your names!"

"Awwww," said Summer, who probably liked her shirt far more than she should, and enjoyed the fact that Pancakes was probably going to be pretty jealous of her having another cat (gasp!) on her shirt.

"Meep meep meep mee!" Beaker agreed, looking pleased that their shirts matched. Teamwork!

And Beaker's enthusiasm was palpable, so Summer grinned at him, appreciating that he could be so pleased even though, surely, something horrible awaited him specifically once things really got kicked off. "Looking good, Beaks," she said, throwing him a thumbs up. "Good luck out there, yeah?"
