Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 30, Period 1, 04.27.06

[OOC: Nothing much to say here. Standard work issues. Class Info Post.]

"Hello, students! Your final in on Tuesday, same class time, same classroom. Any outstanding work is due then."

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for this year. It has been many things with many emotions but as a whole it is something I wouldn't trade for almost anything in the world. You, my students, deserve credit for most of that. Thank you! Thank you all!"

"So. Review for the final. Study by yourself, or in groups, or ask me any Justice-related questions you may have."

At some point while Tick was speaking, Lockheed threw a cupcake to everyone in the room. They were probably safe.

Not that Archie would ever ham it up for the camera or anything.

That wasn't why he decided to turn the tables on Marty and lay the flirtation on just as thick. Hopefully Veronica wouldn't take it the wrong way.

"Hello yourself," he drawled at Marty, flashing his most charming smile. "I must say I've never seen you around . . . these parts before."

Oh this has gone horribly wrong.

Well he's not the only one who could play chicken.

"I'm new in school and all alone. Can a big strong guy like you help me find my way around?"

"You're being terribly familiar for someone new." If Archie had a dollar (well, a pound, technically, but that isn't legal tender here) for every time he's heard a variant on that line used, well . . . he'd have a decent amount of money.

He raised an amused eyebrow at Marty and leaned forward over the edge of his desk. "New in school? The week before finals? Really."

Frak.

"You're not buying it, are you?"

Archie's smirk was probably next to insufferable by this point.

"I'd sooner buy a miracle cure-all from a two-penny quack doctor on a back-country road," he informed Marty cheerfully.

This revenge thing? Far too amusing.

Marty gave Archie a disdainful look. "Men!" she said with exasperation and went over to sit by Parker.
