Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 30, Period 1, 04.27.06

[OOC: Nothing much to say here. Standard work issues. Class Info Post.]

"Hello, students! Your final in on Tuesday, same class time, same classroom. Any outstanding work is due then."

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for this year. It has been many things with many emotions but as a whole it is something I wouldn't trade for almost anything in the world. You, my students, deserve credit for most of that. Thank you! Thank you all!"

"So. Review for the final. Study by yourself, or in groups, or ask me any Justice-related questions you may have."

At some point while Tick was speaking, Lockheed threw a cupcake to everyone in the room. They were probably safe.

Angel sat quietly at his desk and sketched in his notebook. He looked a tiny bit on the tired side, but only if you knew him well.

Marty stomped into the room. He... She... he... didn't look like his normal self (http://chasingangela.livejournal.com/48313.html)

Aeryn could definitely be in worse moods. And she's actually studying, or at least trying.

Yay cupcakes. Parker settled in to review her notes, and sipped her coffee while trying to remember what they'd discussed about the different kinds of justice. "Professor? Is this test going to be all essay, or is there a verbal portion, or is it going to be in the Danger Shop?"

Bridge is standing on his head with a notebook propped open in front of him so he can review his notes.

Rory was there, and studying.

But...quite obviously not for this class. Unless ACJ suddenly dealt with the Morrison campaign.

Justice is a sun, shining down on everyone and assuring him that things are A-OK. Ignore that things usually aren't A-OK and that the sun doesn't get a little stifling, especially if you're locked in a classroom or work or something on a nice day, but still. It applies.

Metaphor:

Justice is like a sun, a large ball of gas that doesn't really do anything on its own but benefits other planets people anyway.

For extra credit, Archie submits these (http://www.ej-sunglasses.com/bugz/INV/orbitz.html) as an example of snazzy sunglasses. They're actually goggles, of course, but how would he know?

Metaphor

The light of the sun of Justice might hurt your eyes if you try to examine it too closely without adequate preparation. Some might argue examining it at all is a bad idea because of this, but I find that a bit extreme.

Parker is wearing these shades (http://raffaello-network.com/item_images/chasin-5095n-c852-11-p.jpg) for extra credit.

Metaphor

The Sun of Justice shines to bring to light the flaws in society.

Bridge has got a pair of SPD standard-issue sunglasses.

The impurities of Injustice are seperated from the water of Society thanks to the sun of Justice
