"This week," Rosa, as usual, was not wasting any time in getting the 'lesson' part of this 'class' over with as soon as possible, "we're looking at the third chakra, the manipura chakra, which is sometimes also called the solar plexus or the navel chakra, and literally just means 'place of shining gem'. This is the chakra where confidence and power is said to come from, so...you know that feeling like you could just take on the whole world? That's due to this chakra being balanced, and when you feel doubt, insecurity, and a lack of direction, that's said to be an indication that you need to work on this one a little. Honestly, I can't relate. My solar plexus chakra is always balanced, if that's the case."

It certainly seemed to be in good shape today, anyway.

"This chakra is believed to be located right above the navel," with a hand on her stomach to demonstrate, "and is associated with the element of fire, the color yellow, and good digestion, actually. So maybe it wasn't that burrito you had from that sketchy food truck the other day, but instead an unbalance manipura chakra.

"The poses associated with opening up this chakra as usually related with harnessing the energy of the sun, so we're already on the right path by starting with our sun salutations. We're also going to focus on a classic seated forward bend, bow pose, half spinal twist, upward plank pose, and cobra pose. A lot of ground work on this one, so let's warm up, and then have a seat and we'll get started going over those."

"Buy me dinner?" she said, looking startled. "What - not that I mind, of course, but what does one have to do with the other?"

Yeah, Gladio kind of figured the cultural context on that one would be a little lost on Nell, and he chuckled a little, though not unkindly, as he tried to think of the best way to explain.

Because he'd definitely figured that he would be explaining.

"It's kind of a joke," he said. "Not the dinner part, I'm very serious about that, but it's a thing people say, you know? Blowing an innocuous thing like bumping into someone or a back rub up into something more then it is, and then teasing that, if you're getting that up close and personal, decency dictates there should at least be a date or something first."

Although there was a little kernel of truth in that, and he was pretty sure they both knew that...even if only one of them really realized it.

Nell blushed. "Oh. I hadn't realized that - the teasing -" She let out a breath in a huff and then smiled at him, even if there was just a tinge of uncertainty there.

"Guess maybe you'd better then, if my hands are going to be all on you." And then even she realized that something that could be made of that. "I mean," she was flustered now, but in a kind of happy way, because if she were honest with herself, and no, she wasn't going to admit this to you, Gladio, not at this time, she did kind of like the idea of being able to have her hands on him, even if it was just to massage his back and even if - " - and your shirt will be on, Mister Amicitia," she said sternly and a bit louder than she'd intended, even as she laughed softly to herself.

Rosa was going to have to start bring in her earplugs to this class, and pray they were as effective against disgusting puppy love as it was blacksmith snores.

And now at least Gladio felt like he and Nell were....well, if not on the same page entirely on that offer, at least they were in the same book.

"Now that's something," he said with a grin, "I don't hear that much anymore."

He'd been wearing so many shirts lately, too! Even the one from yesterday! Even after Steve even took off his!

Nell couldn't help but laugh. "I'm sure you look," well, remarkably handsome, "quite nice without it, but for now..."

Gladio looked fucking great without it, but that was hardly breaking news.

So he just grinned at Nell for a moment before shifting to move into a cobra pose.

"For now," he agreed.

"For now," she said again with a smile. Then deciding to be daring added. "But then you'll definitely need to take me to dinner first."

And blushed.

"So," Gladio said, pushing up with a slight grimace that reminded him that, shirtless or otherwise, he could probably use that back rub much sooner rather than later, "when's a good time?"

Nell shrugged. "The only evening I ever have plans is Tuesday."

"Funny," Gladio huffed slightly, "I have pretty good plans Tuesday evenings, too. How 'bout this weekend, then?"

"I just happen to be free all weekend," Nell said with a smile, "so that sounds just great to me."

"Saturday?" Gladio suggested. "Pick you up at maybe seven?"

"That sounds perfect," Nell said, then hesitated, "Is there anything I'm supposed to do or wear or am I okay the way I am?"

"You're great the way you are."

Gladio really couldn't help himself with that one.

"Any requests on where to go?"

Nell blushed and laughed a little at that. "Oh you!"

She considered and then shook her head. "I've pretty much only ever been to The Perk or the pizza place unless I was traveling with a class. And I like pretty much everything. So, surprise me."

There was a pause before she added teasingly. "Even just Cup Noodle is fine with me."

"We could only be so lucky!" Gladio said with a huffed laugh of his own, and an even bigger grin now. "But I'll think about it, see what might be good. Maybe get some recs from Iggy."

"I trust you," Nell said. And she did. In so many different ways.

"In any case," she added with a smile. "If we don't like it, we'll just have to try again?"
