When ~~the poor schmucks~~ Fandom arrived in the park on Wednesday, they would see five wooden rafts, big enough to each hold four people (or Muppets, or a Sidon), bobbing on the pond. In the center of each raft was a metal bucket full of objects. Some were balloon-shaped, some were ball-shaped, others were clearly shoes. One looked suspiciously like Intern Porg.

(Do not throw Intern Porg.)

"In honor of break week, we are doing something that didn't require much effort on my part to set up," Anakin said, which was pretty straight-forward of him. "We're doing a balloon-ish toss! Pick an object, toss it to your teammate on the next raft over. Do not miss, or break the object! Fastest team to get all the way around the circuit wins."

He grinned. "Powers may be used today. And there are plenty of objects in the buckets. No one says you have to only toss things at your own teammates."

Sometimes Anakin just liked to watch the world burn.

"Listen for your names!"

Steve waved at Belle. "Ready?" he yelled.

"I'll do my best," Belle called back uncertainly.

She didn't have much experience playing catch.

"I'm sure it'll be great!" Steve said perhaps overly optimistically. "Just hold out your hands and I'll toss you this beach ball!

"Like this?" Belle asked. Her hands were far too far apart to catch anything effectively. She'd find that out soon enough.

"Sure!" Steve said. "Hands a little closer together, okay?"

"Are you--" big yawn "--are you ready?" Gray called across to Steve.

It was so nice on the raft in the sun, he could just take a little...no, no, there was throwing of stuff to be done.

"Very!" Steve said ethusiastically. "C'mon, we can do this!"

Maybe!

Gray selected a...shoe? Sure, why not a shoe? out of the bucket and then sort of...almost nodded off just as he went to throw it to Steve. So the trajectory on that was going to be extremely questionable.

Sorry to whoever's shoe that was.

Probably one of Anakin's kids' after one too many promises of cleaning them up and then not.

"That was close! Try again!"

"Okay, Cutter!" Summer called over to him. "Don't screw this up like you do everything else, okay, buddy?"

Very encouraging, Summer, very helpful, thanks.

But that was all the warning he was getting before she lightly toss the first balloon his way.

Cutter couldn’t actually argue against that since his track record lately was really terrible.

He was also trying to figure out a way that he could cling to the raft and still catch the balloon and it went just about as well as expected.

On the one hand it was definitely one way to overcome his slight phobia of the water.

“Uh this might take a while,” he grimaced a little.
