The Floor is Lava - Thursday, Period One

The landscape in Danger Shop looked surprisingly peaceful today, lava and all. Suspiciously so, one might say.

But those people were paranoid. And so, maybe, correct.

"So, today is going to be something a little different," Jane said, eyeing the 'lava' warily. "With simple places to jump, but..."

The lava roared. Yes, roared.

"Surprise," Cara said dryly as several massive heads reared out of the lava, equally transparent, glistening, and wobbly.

"It just doesn't seem structurally sound," Jane sighed. Because it didn't, okay? It just didn't!

The nearest jello dragon snapped its goopy jaws at Jane, just for that.

"Have fun," Cara said, sounding genuinely excited, the weirdo.

Steph must have rolled a natural 20 somewhere. Or maybe she'd just designed so many wild and terrifying big bads in her time that jello dragons didn't actually bother her?

Maybe it was because they were all wobbly and shiny and jello-colored?

Anyway. She was so going to end up giving Vi a hard time about winning more times in this class... you know, assuming Vi didn't manage to catch up or overtake her.

Vi had fallen in while dodging a dragon almost immediately, so no, she was not going to catch up to her.

Awwww, was Steph going to have to cheer her up about that later? Because she could do that.
