Shop Class: 4/26

Mac must have been by J,GOB's because there is coffee and muffins galore.

"Morning Class, Today I would like you to design and build a habitat for our favorite holographic dinosaur. Make sure that that the habitat will have the following things:

1. Play Area
2. Sleep Area
3. Bologna Feeding Station"

Sam was stumped. She had also begun muttering to herself, "It's a hologram. It doesn't eat, it doesn't breathe, it doesn't live. It doesn't need a habitat."

Denver, meanwhile, was sitting on the floor by Xander (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/844777.html?thread=39253481#t39253481), since that was where the wee muffins were. An occasional snicker could be heard.

"No, Mac, I'm great." *thunk* *thunk* *thunk* "Why do you ask?"

"Huh." Sam lifted her head, now imprinted with a crease from the edge of the desk. "This assignment is making my head hurt."

It probably had nothing to do with the tiny brontosaurus wiling away the morning in the hammock of Crichton's hammock, hoping Kawalsky would stop by and feed him bologna.

"It's physically impossible for a hologram to eat!" Sam yelled stated loudly, glaring at the brontosaurus. "It doesn't exist after you turn off the equipment! The entire assignment is a fallacy!"

Denver looked hurt by her announcement. Of course he existed.

"Fine." Sam got down to work, and by the end of the class she had a fairly decent habitat, complete with edible trees, ferns, fresh running water, and a few hills.

Unimpressed, Denver turned up his nose from his spot in the hammock in Crichton's habitat. What kind of brontosaurus habitat didn't have a hammock, Twinkies, muffins, or a bologna dispenser?

Duo mirrored Sam's confusion and scratched his head.

"A habitat for something that's not alive?" He said absently, then laughed. "Guess that's sorta along the lines of givin' pie to a little robotic bunny-klepto." And so, in order to not be hypocritical, he sets about trying to think where a small purple holographic dinosaur might like to sleep.
