The Floor is Lava - Thursday, Period One

The Danger Shop looked like a drunken unicorn had gone on a psychedelic rampage. Everything (including the jello) was an almost eye searing rainbow and there was a thick layer of (edible) glitter everywhere, including in the jello.

"It's meant to look like this," Cara lied blandly.

Steph made a vague humming noise for a few moments and busied herself with brushing bits of jello off Vi's arms and shirt.

"You know? 'Don't worry, I've got your back' does a surprising amount of work for me, actually."

She nudged Vi with her shoulder. "Who said I was worried? Maybe I just like to hear it."

Vi bumped her back. "Well, I'll keep saying it then."

They were lucky they were well clear of the lava, because Cara was tempted to dump them back in at this display.

"I mean, I'm definitely not going to stop you," Steph said cheerfully. "Let's go get those cupcakes, and then I could use a shower."
