Office Hour
CJ is sitting at her desk writing emails. Dare to disturb her.
Dearest Jack,
I don't know where you've gone, but I know you're around and safe and that's enough. If this ever finds you I just want you to know you're my boy, I love you, and nothing in time or space will change that.
Love always, Mom
Dearest Ten,
I can't sit here in Fandom anymore and wait for you. If you get this, I'm going back to DC and staying with Carol for a while I think. From there I don't have a plan...no plan for perhaps the first time in my life. I hope one day I'll find you, but if I never do I want you to know that these were the best months of my life, and I'll miss you for the rest of my life.
Love, CJ
Dear Gil,
You've barely been gone and I miss you terribly. This is just to let you and Sara know that if you need to reach me you can do so at:
CJ Cregg
c/o Carol Fitzpatrick
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC.
20502
Dear Boys,
I'll be stopping in Alexandria on my way to DC. If I can, I'd like to stop in and see you. If you don't get this, maybe you'll be in for a nice surprise.
Fondly, CJ
Dear Shane,
There's been no word, no trace, nothing to tell me where you might have gone. I wish I knew. I could rest easy if I just knew you were safe. I'll never stop looking, babygirl. Never.
Love, Mom
TO: Fandom High Administration,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving me a chance to make a difference in the lives of our student body. Teaching here is an experience I won't soon forget. Once the term is done, I'll be moving on. I will return my key for my classroom, the building, and my dormroom to the office on Sunday before I go.
Sincerely,
CJ Cregg, Speech Communication

like Martybut she wants to. "Not quite yet. I still have a Russian essay to finish. How about you? I heard something about no final in 301? Is that fair? Sheesh. Get done early, head to the beach..." She grinned.no subject

There was no reason to lie or hide it. Maia knew these things, she'd figured out.
"But you're staying, right? You really should complete your education, Maia. I really think it's something you missed out on...being 68 without high school and all."

"Um, no?"

"Not watching TV in the lobby tonight, Professor?" he asked, totally changing the subject.
