She puts her head down on the desk to think.

Thinking looks a lot like napping.

Now she's more alert. Unfortunately, she is bored, and is thus tossing balls of paper at the trash can.

About half of them are going in.

Parker came in after ACJ and immediately *headdesked* on the Library Counter. "Kill me?"

"Tell me why first?"

"I barely get done with the Tactics final I turned in last night, and we're still working on the Campaign project, and I have a Russian midterm to turn in, and ~~my mun would be able to sleep~~, and I have a bad feeling about the Medieval English Final...." Parker took a breath, then just laid her head down on the counter. "And I really, really want a cigarette."

"Ohhhh," Angela said, feeling guilty because the only final she was even vaguely worried about was government. "No killing, no smoking."

She attempted to put a soothing hand on Parker's shoulder. "We have, like, a week and a half of school left. You'll get through it."

Parker groaned. "God, never, ever let me think it's a good idea to take five classes and an independent study again. Never, ever again." She stoically endured the shoulder-patting, then closed her eyes. "I need to do something fun. Something highly non-academic."

Angela nodded. "God, yeah, it sounds like you're getting hammered. Want to do pizza and chick flicks or movies with a lot of explosions in the common room tonight? I could so deal with that."

"Perfect. I think it's been an eon since I've watched TV." Parker perked up a little, opened her eyes and resting her head on her arms. "Tonight's Jarod's night for working at the Sin, so I'll call him later. But chick flicks and pizza are about all I could handle tonight. Thank God I don't have classes tomorrow, it almost makes up for Tuesdays and Thursdays." She tilted her head. "How are things in Angela-land?"

"I ran into Jarod at Caritas yesterday," Angela noted. "It's probably less weird for you to visit him there than at the Sin, huh?"

"And Angela-land is .... Actually? Things are really good right now. Prom was really nice, the last two days have been nice -- and why am I so sure I just jinxed things by saying that?"

Parker made a face. "You have no idea. Aside from the ninja-violence-issues, Miho is perfectly fine with talking to me in Japanese if it's to embarass me. And Rory's evil twin still doesn't know my name, but is fine with suggesting things that Jarod might like. Gah. I wish he'd move out, even if he won't quit working there."

"Prom was nice, wasn't it?" Parker propped her chin up on her hand. "And -- I am not going to comment on that and increase any possibility of jinx. There's only two weeks before the term is over. If anything happens, it would be soon."

"Knock wood, right?" Angela said, lowering her voice. "And, hey, I heard something kind of amusing about Rory's evil twin. That magician guy is apparently kind of seeing her, whatever? And she won't -- you know. Be intimate. A prostitute, and that's her hangup."

"Buh?" Parker blinked at Angela. "She won't what now? Okay, with GOB, I kinda get why, but..."

"It might be a 'with GOB' thing and not, like, a rule," Angela conceded. She shrugged. "He was bugging me at the bar at Caritas and he kind of volunteered the information. People are so bizarre."

"Extremely. GOB more than most." Parker shook her head in bemusement, processing the concept of Becky just not having sex with the guy. "I was there when he got the Gomez Brothers and Constable Fraser to help him serenade her on Valentine's Day, and they went off together, and I assumed... well. Hunh." She shook her head. "Then again, maybe Miho gutting him put a damper on their relationship."

"He sounded really afraid of her." Angela snickered. "She drove us to the prom. Marty tipped her very well, because we had no pie."

"Hell, I'm afraid of her. I think that's just evidence of sanity. Smart of Marty to tip her well, though." Parker grinned, then shook her head. "I still don't quite get the whole pirate-ninja thing. I really should've asked Barbossa about that, instead of just MegaZapping him."

She's vamoosed to art class. Maybe someone else can help you?

She is back and is studying her government textbook.

Mmmm, food.

Angela has shrimp-flavored ramen noodles.

Energized by lunch, Angela is bopping about the library, New Order on her iPod, reshelving stuff.

She's still doing that work stuff; now she's making a list of overdue books.

Almost time to go home, huzzah.

She is celebrating by dusting the library tables, perhaps a touch too energetically.
