Could I ask you for a favor? I'm trying to find some general, non-mythological information on sentient non-human races and I was hoping that you could tell me about any that your people may have encountered.

Sentient non-human races? Yeah, I've seen a few. What kind of stuff you looking for?

Anything, really. The biggest problem I'm currently facing is that I don't know what I should be looking for. I suppose that, considering the chaotic nature of the school, I should start with defensive measures. Do you know of any general-purpose defensive materials or rituals? Aside from bullets and the like, of course. ::sly grin::

Well, I've always found the best defense is a good offense. *grins*

Umm, well, I've run into demons races that can turn invisible or blend in with their surroundings. They were natural abilities, though, not spells rituals. But I've heard of amulets that can make protective shields, too.
