Driver's Ed, April 21st, Periods 1-2

There are several giant robots.

"If everyone could find the Zord that matches the schematics I assigned you last week, I'd like you to get in the cockpit and start experimenting with the controls. Remember- nothing you do will cause any lasting damage, as this is just a simulation, so don't worry."

Cally looks at the other two, and then presses the Japanese Eltaran labelled button.

Anders has total faith in his girlfriend. He really does.

He's not flinching and making quiet "meep" noises.

Except for how he kind of is.

Oops. Wrong button. The Tricera Arm removes itself, goes to wherever it goes in this situation, and the Cephalo zord makes it's weird Cephalo-ey noises as it runs up, transforms, and attaches itself as the new arm.

Cally blinks. "That didn't work!"

Zero wibbled. "My robot just disappeared." She looked to Cally and Anders beseechingly. "That's bad, right?"

"Disappearing is bad. Disappearing is very bad." Anders carries on with the meeping noises.

Cally flails. "Should I just hit them all?"

"All the blue ones, maybe?"

Cally hits all the blue buttons. After momentarily summoning ALL the secondary dinozaords, eventually, the whole thing breaks apart into it's proper bits, and ejects our intrepid accidental Megazord pilots.

Cally lands with an oof and a groan as she hits the grass in an undiginified belly flop.

Anders lands hard on his elbow and rolls over on the ground, ending up near Cally. He crawls over and buries his face in her stomach, groaning.

"Okay. That was . . . kinda fun, actually."

Cally rubs her face and groans as well. "Yeah, it was. But ow. Harsh landing."

"You okay?" he asks. "Nothing broken or anything?"

"My sense of physics and proper engineering, that's all," Cally says.

Anders winces. "Yeah, I think mine's broken too and I didn't even know I had one."

Cally shrugs. "It worked, though. So I guess I can't knock it. Plus, that was kinda cool."

"It was," Anders agrees. "Now that my nerves have recovered, anyway. Holy frak, that is so not what I want for my everyday car."

"Luckily, they don't have those here, I don't think. So, were' totally safe," Cally says.

"Nope. Don't have 'em back home either, so that won't be a problem." Anders looks wistfully at the T-Rex. "They sure as frak are cool, though."
