Driver's Ed, April 21st, Periods 1-2

There are several giant robots.

"If everyone could find the Zord that matches the schematics I assigned you last week, I'd like you to get in the cockpit and start experimenting with the controls. Remember- nothing you do will cause any lasting damage, as this is just a simulation, so don't worry."

Muttering under his breath about anchors being good enough for him, Barbossa hit the brake button.

The giraffe came to a shuddering halt.

Then Barbossa hit a different button.

Hmm. Might be weapons.

Something hits Anders's T-Rex. It makes his hair stand on end for a few moments, then rocks the entire Zord.

"Whoa!" yells Anders, flailing his arms about exaggeratedly because he has this strange feeling that it's what you're supposed to do. "What the frak was that?"

Don't ask him why he's suddenly punctuating all his dialogue with broad fist pumps and other seemingly random hand gestures.

"Sorry 'bout that!" Barbossa yelled.

His hands flailed. He could be churning butter. Or doing the Cabbage Patch.

Or apologizing using interpretive dance.

Either way, it knocked the joystick, sending the giraffe lurching back towards the wall.

Barbossa then used a fairly universal, if not exactly kids' show appropriate, gesture.
