Driver's Ed, April 21st, Periods 1-2

There are several giant robots.

"If everyone could find the Zord that matches the schematics I assigned you last week, I'd like you to get in the cockpit and start experimenting with the controls. Remember- nothing you do will cause any lasting damage, as this is just a simulation, so don't worry."

Marty is having waaaaay too much fun with this as he hops around the room, occasionally blowing up small unimportant items with a laser.

"Oh I have got to get one of these things!"

Nadia totally didn't wander by in a semi-sleep walking state sometime towards the end of the class, spot Marty hopping about in a giant robotic frog zord, and then decide it would be a good idea to lean into the classroom and yell "Prom!" as loud as she could.

Nope, didn't happen.

The frog takes a bad spill and rolls toward the classroom door.

"FRAK!"

Marty struggles with his joystick DIRTY! and manages to get his giant frog zord under control.

A sentence I never thought I'd ever write

Nadia rolled her eyes and decided now was probably not the best time to be having this argument.

Marty righted his Mighty Frog Zord. He hoped no one else saw that.

It was pretty funny, watching Marty twitch inside the giant robot frog. Especially when she remembered that as long as she was standing outside the door, nothing from the danger shop's hologram programs could hurt her.

She waved at Marty cheerfully. "Prom!"

The Frog did a back flip.

"NOT FUNNY SANTOS!"

Oh, but it was! She wondered what else she could make the frog do?

"What isn't funny, Blank? I thought you said you weren't afraid of the prom!"

"Then I'm not doing anything when I say 'prom'!" Nadia was grinning like an idiot now.

Suddenly the frog is doing the electric slide across the classroom.

"SANTOS! YOU SUCK!"

Noooo, robots suck. Of course, she can't say that because she's too busy giggling happily.

Marty has gotten wise and is not touching the joystick.

Awww, no more frog dance. Nadia pouted.

Oh well. "I guess I'll see you at the prom tomorrow, then, Marty!" she called, giving the robot frog a jaunty salute.

Even if she couldn't see it? Well, she knew he was twitching in there, somewhere. . . .
