"Today kids, we'll be painting backdrops and decorations for prom. The theme is Lost Cities and I have a list for you to work from. There's pictures and other information in each backdrop's area."

Castles are cool. Bridge grabs some grey paint and gets to work painting Camelot.

After stopping here and for some godawful reason he will never understand here and skirting around that through... let's say luck, yes, Xander finally arrives in Camelot. Or... you know, the end of the studio with a castle wall backdrop and a Bridge in it. Granted the whole trip probably only took a few minutes, but it sure as hell seemed like all day...

"Angel's insane, I'm staying for the summer, there was a b-word used and I'm kind of freaked out that it didn't freak me out as much as I think it should've, and Isabel says hi; how's your last five minutes been?" Xander drops an armload of glitter glue, sticks, and paper flags next to Bridge, then sits cross-legged on the floor.

Bridge looks over at Xander and blinks for a few seconds as he processes all that. Then he grins.

"Pretty boring, but things are looking up."

Xander attaches a wee paper pennant to a stick, then poises a glitter-glue tube over it. "It'd... be wrong to make an Angel/Prof. Lyman flag, wouldn't it." He eyes Bridge pleadingly. "Tell me it would not be wrong. Lie, if you have to."

Bridge laughs. "I think we could manage that." And then, because he's oh-so-practiced in the art of topic changes, "So, um, b-word?"

Wow, look at that intricate, precise, suddenly girly artistic handwriting he's using to lovingly glitter Angel/Professor Lyman = OTP WTF! on that flag! Isn't it an amazingly convenient excuse for not looking at someone?

"Ahhhh, yeah. Angel - who I do not hesitate to remind you is insane - said it."

"Well," Bridge says, absentmindedly adding some glitter-paint to a turret. "It's kind of a nice word. I like it."

"You don't know what b-word he said," Xander points out, affixing the Angel/Josh flag to another turret. "It could be... Beelzebub. He did ask me if you were a demon."

"It wasn't Beezelbub," Bridge says. "I couldn't hear the whole conversation but I did hear that much. And... why was he asking if I was a demon?" He adds, making a confused face.

"Oh." Hmm, looky thar, another flag he can stare at instead of making eye contact. This one says Ninja/Pirate/Booze/Pie=OT4. Well, so far it just says Nin, actually, but it's getting there.

"You know, aside from the obvious, I'm not sure he ever got around to explaining why. Something about the radio last night and who has a crush on who, and how or why you felt the need to, um. Read the news report, as far as I can tell."

"Well... dating me does automatically put you on the suspect list. Thus the horns and fangs grillow-from-Willow. "

Who's just about due to be poking his inbox again, but pfft, like he's gonna bring the laptop to the art studio and get her anywhere near Bridge again paint on it?

"Well, if anything, I'd probably fit under 'mutant' rather than 'demon', really," Bridge says.

At that, Xander looks up and grins. "See now if I were a comic book geek? I would think that was really, really, really, really, really cool." Xander coughs. "As a guy who's just storing the entire run of Y-People under my bed 'for a friend,' it's... still kinda nifty."

Isabel wandered over. No, she was not coming over to smile at the cuteness of Xander and Bridge. Really. She was just here to make sure to backdrop looked nice so Parker would stop panicking. "Hey guys! Need help?"

Since Xander was already working with glitter, Isabel started drawing knights on top of the castle walls. "What do you think?"

Bridge watches her draw for a few seconds, and then gives Isabel a thumbs-up. "Looks good so far!"

"They're slightly more then stick figures. But you get the idea," she said. "So are you guys all set for tomorrow? Tuxes? Dinner arrangements? Flowers?"

"Yes flowers. It's tradition. I'm thinking a nice tasteful bouttonaire for each of you," Isabel grinned.

"No fair freaking out the roomie on the day before Prom when he's thinking, 'well at least there's one think I don't have to worry about...'"

Xander stuck his tongue out at her.

"Lapel flowers I can handle, though." He shrugged, then glanced at Bridge. "Dinner...uhhhhh. Hadn't really talked about it."

"Well there's not to many options," Isabel said. "Ching Tai, Luke's, or Cafe Fina. Or there's always my choice, ramen in the room."

Xander blinked again. "Okay, who do I have to beat up for feeding my roomie ramen noodles before Prom? 'Cause formal sit-down dinner might be a little beyond my brainpower for this, but dude. There's gotta be a better option than just add water."
