"So last week you all learned an important lesson about teamwork," Aphra, who did not look hungover today, said by way of greeting. Whether it had been the lesson actually intended was entirely up for debate. "So today it's time for a lesson on being a badass lone wolf."

Which didn't explain why there were in the computer lab. "But because it would be irresponsible or something to just let you go out and do that." Because if there was one thing Isabela was know for, it was being responsible. "So instead you're going to play a game."

An already hard game that Aphra might have sliced to make even harder.

It was funny, really, how something about this game seemed to tickle the back of Graham's brain as something familiar, but also still quite a bit different, all at the same time.

He did think, even with those pixels, that he very much enjoyed the main character's sense of adventurer's style.

But he was definitely dying a lot.

And spent a good period of the class time just trying to figure out how to get that axe out of that tree stump!!!

... yeah, Beta fell into the moat and died three times before she got frustrated enough to start trying to hack the game back into something less seemingly impossible.

Alara was finding the game extremely difficult and at this point she was rather surprised she hadn’t managed to break the computer yet out of frustration.

Belle did not fall in the moat. Belle did fall into a lake and drown a few screens over after failing to do anything besides open a door and speak to a king.

Beeeeeeeeest teachers.

So I started playing the game to make sure it'd work, and immediately fell in the moat and died.

I have played this game more times than I can count, and I always immediately fall into the moat and die.

It's practically essential.
