Getting to Know Earth, Wednesday

"I hope you all enjoyed getting to know France last week," Hannibal said. "I'm rather fond of it myself, having in part grown up there. I thought this week we might experience something a bit different. And something with a bit less walking," he added, smiling. "I hope you brought swimwear as you were handwavily reminded to."

He led them through the portal and to, "Hanauma Bay. It is a nature preserve in Hawaii." It was also not light out yet. "I understand the sunrise is spectacular, and we haven't even had to wake up early for it. We will also avoid too many tourists." Said as if you all clearly weren't. "If you care to snorkel, there are numerous fish here and it is also known for its green turtles. Enjoy."

He would probably swim after the sunrise.

"I also have towels if you've forgotten yours, and sunscreen. Please do not get burnt."

"Of course." Hannibal spread it out for her. "Would you like sunscreen, or do you have your own?"

“Sunscreen?” Jo tilted her head a bit at that, the word was familiar but she had never applied it before, “I don’t have any, I’ve never used it before,” she admitted.

"Here." Hannibal took a tube from his bag. "You spread it over your skin like moisturizer. Don't forget your face and the back of your neck. It will help keep you from a nasty sunburn."
