He would scoff if it weren't rude.

Instead he answered //Your name in your language is a kind of joke with the word for monkey and the word for the way my kind wear clothes. So your name is the two together, "Humon."//

Mr. Neilson is just amused by a room full of people who can finally talk to him, so if he thinks the question is lame he doesn't show it.

Mr. Neilson fights back the urge to mutter Note to self, kill the Spiritual-Boy, he KNOWS. As somehow it may not go over well.

//Yes, when they are nice, I do like dogs. I am not sure I'll ever be entirely comfortable around Whip-Fingered-Boy's hound however. Cold-Like-Death's puppy however is delightful.//
