Jo had received a new care package from her dad and letters from home, along with a new letter from Deidre about how the start of the school year had been .
Once Jo had put away the books that needed to be reshelved, she settled down at the front desk to read her letters . Deidre had mentioned that she had gotten an invite to Parents Weekend and was hoping to be able to visit - she had asked Miss Grayling and she was waiting to see if she could make it.
She did hope that Deidre could visit Fandom, she knew Parents Weekend was getting very close - she did still have a fear that her dad was going to visit - she did not want a repeat of what had happened at what turned out to be her last half term at Malory Towers.
