Today there was a ring of chairs in the middle of the park, so that was fine. Musical chairs was a very normal game to play!

Of course, this was Anakin...

"Today we're playing Musical Shares!" Anakin announced through his completely superfluous megaphone. "It will be one giant team building exercise!"

That seemed ominous. "Come get your shirts!"

Oh, they were Hawaiian. And had Anakin's face on them.

That...that was a choice.

And one of those people was definitely going to be Summer, too, wasn't it?

It's not like she did it on purpose! It was just part of the game, and she was maybe a little distracted by her previous round, and she was just trying to get to a chair, and it wasn't her fault if someone may have already been sitting in one!

And by the time she may have realized it, it was clearly too late!

So, you know...

Stark instinctively put a hand up to steady the person on his lap, let out a very surprised little noise at the same time, then realized whose hip his hand was on and let out more of a yelp as he pulled it back.

Totally normal not at all awkward behavior. This was fine.

Between Stark's reaction and Jon's hesitation, Summer made sure to power through her own initial ohgodStark urge to just bolt right back up to her feet and, instead, made sure to fucking double down hard by reaching out to pull Jon into her lap as if to ensure that, see? Everyone, sitting in everyone's lap, no big deal here, and they could figure out what to do with whatever fourth person they ended up with when they got there.

Maybe it could be Beaker! And then he could conveniently explode and they'd all have much bigger problems to worry about!

Oh yes, much better to have Summer now pinned in Stark's lap. What could possibly be a problem here?

At least Jon was very skinny.

Jon yelped in surprise, but let himself be pulled and settled down, trying to wrap an arm around Summer and Stark both for balance.

"Jesus, Jon," said Summer, because she couldn't really help herself and it was much more preferable right now to focus on who was in her lap instead of whose lap she was in. "Eat a fucking sandwich."

She meant it with love! She very much appreciated your lightness that was not pressing down on her too much right now, actually!

Stark just sighed a little and tried to stay very still.
