It would seem that rain was coming in later that afternoon, and so Sidon, not wanting to risk having some perfectly good arts and crafts ruined by sudden showers, was holding class inside the community center again. And there, at the various tables, the students would find awaiting for them a wide plethora of different sea shells, of all moddable shapes and sizes, as well as a good deal of string, pieces of driftwood and sticks, as well as circular rings, cutting and trimming supplies, and other various sundry bits and tools that would be needed.

"Hello, everyone!" Sidon beamed out his grinning, enthusiastic greeting as he gestured to to supplies before them. "And welcome back, to another day of summer time arts and crafting! Today, we will be making seashell art, and while there is a wide variety of artistic endeavors one might pursue with seashells as their medium, today, I would like to focus specifically on creating a variety of different sea shell mobiles that will add a nice touch of seaside splendor to any decor!

"Now, there are several different ways to go about this, and you may very well have you own idea as to how you'd like to construct your mobile, but allow me to at least go over a few slightly different ones so that you can determine which style is best for you! Or it may be none of them, and you have something completely different in store! Only one way to find out! Let's begin!"

The most important thing to take away from Sidon walking through the steps of the different styles of mobiles is that how to get the holes in the shells, how to string them through, and what you'll be using as a base to hang the strings from. Everything else can vary based on imagination and determination!

Once again, the seashells are entirely moddable, from simple one's you'd find on the beach to more unique and shiny ones that no one can really be sure where Sidon got them. There's also plenty of options for bases, as well as string, and so, really, it's up to you to go ahead and figure out how you'd best like to put it all together!

Since this one didn't involve any drawing, or really anything too complex by the way of actual crafting skills, Sakaki went into her mobile almost feeling confident that she could pull this one off.

Which she realized she should have known better, because, no matter how hard she tried, it seemed she couldn't stop getting all of her strings of shells tangled up in each other so she just had a big jumbled mess of string and shells around the stick she'd used as a base.

Well a mobile was one of the decoration ideas that Dr. Lecter had suggested for something to work on as part of her therapy for the nursery, so at least this gave her something to focus on as she went about making her sea shell mobile.

She decided to go for a minimalistic look for the mobile as she began to work on attaching the shells to the string.

Libby wished seashells were something you could find more in Tennessee, because she loved these, and was eager to get on started.

After all, now that she did live by the sea, it seemed like the perfect thing. She had been wanting to decorate her side of the room a little more, especially since Vi had decorated hers, but she hadn't known where to even start. This hanging over her bed, though, felt just the thing.

Despite his best efforts, Graham's fingers were getting a bit tangled up in his strings, but it had more to do with his enthusiasm than anything else. Once he actually made himself slow down and hunker in with purpose and intent, his mobile was taking a much better turn.

Gray wasn't really sure what he wanted to do here, and as he tried to figure it out he got more and more confused until he gave up and fell asleep right on his craft materials. The seashells were going to leave some interesting marks on his face.

This was admittedly a little beyond Dwight's normal creative reach. But he was giving it his best attempt, Maybe something decent would turn out in the end... maybe?

This was surprisingly hard to do with Alexis' current manicure situation but she was doing okay.

"Can we paint these?" she asked. "Y'know, for the aesthetic?"

Sidon may have been particularly proud of the mobile he's made out of sneaky river snail shells, since they do have a tendency to glow rather beautifully at night.
