The Shed of Holding was back in the center of the park, so clearly that was a terrible sign. Anakin also looked very pleased with himself, so...run.

"Today we have more obstacles to overcome!" Anakin said through the microphone and seriously, someone take away his access to British television shows. "Listen for your name and you cannot use powers today for any of the events. You can, however, take suggestions from your teammates!"

"It's... a reference to sexy bits," Steph told him. "More commonly associated with human women. Like, there's the..."

She gestured at the cartoon beaver on the shirt, indicating its giant teeth.

"You see it?"

Stark's face (what there was of it) was going on a whole journey as Steph spoke. It ended with his eye gone wide and then he was looking very quickly at the ground.

"Oh. Oh. I thought it was just...oh."

Steph reached over to pat him on the shoulder.

"But also a literal cute furry creature, so you know, there's that."

"Sorry," Stark said quickly. It felt like he ought to be apologizing though he wasn't entirely sure why.

"I wasn't expecting it to mean anything."

"Dude, what is there to be sorry for?" asked Steph. "You didn't know, and now you do. Shit, maybe I'm the one who should be sorry for telling you... I mean, I'm not, but."

"I did ask," Stark said with a rueful smile. "And now I know." What he would possibly do with this newfound knowledge was a mystery.

"I feel like this should be a cautionary tale about being careful what you ask for," Steph joked. "But as a small upside, that's one more thing you can find humor in when you feel like being twelve?"

What was probably going to happen was that Stark was going to say something to Summer and/or Travis and then immediately regret it.

"I'll try to remember that. And perhaps try to give the shirt away." Stark had several shirts he really ought to give away.

"I'm happy to take this one off your hands," Steph said immediately. "I want to see how long my friend Ryan goes on about beaver facts before the joke hits him. If it does."

There were reasons she'd tried to include "Colorado himbo with a heart of gold" in his Smolder bio, okay.

"Animal facts?" Yes, Stark just wanted to be sure.

"You're welcome to the shirt if you want it."

After Stark changed back into the shirt he'd worn to the park today.

"A hundred percent animal facts. Dude's a Colorado state park ranger who studies bird calls for fun." It was worth noting that Steph sounded fond, despite the way she was rolling her eyes. "It was literally impossible to watch dinosaur movies with both him and Gabe, because he'd never shut up about where the feathers were, and whenever it's his turn to pick movies for movie night, it's always nature documentaries."

She laughed. "He's a good guy, though." He'd backed Alex's claims against his own father, even if it had clearly hurt him to do so. "And no rush on the shirt, bro. I can pick it up whenever, since I'll be seeing you in cupcake class again."

"He's back where you were before here?" Stark asked.

"And good. I'm glad you'll be there again." Flirting with someone. Then any flirting anyone might be doing with the teacher might be less noticeable!

"Back in Haven Springs, yeah. He basically never leaves." Yes, Steph thought this was inconceivable, but it worked for him.

"It was a fun class." You had seen absolutely nothing that last week, Stark. Nothing. There had been no extremely charged interaction going on at all. "Plus I get food out of it? Hell yeah I was gonna do it again."

Stark had absolutely seen things but they were none of his business. There wasn't anyone on this island who he really had the right to be concerned about such things with.

"I'm glad you liked it. I hope it's fun again."

To be fair, it was pretty hard to miss the things that absolutely hadn't happened, but if they had happened they would've happened in his class so it kind of would have been his business if it got to the point of having to kick them out of class for it.

"Oh, it totally will be. Just, like, by default, dude."

How could you go wrong with sugary baked goods?

Stark would not kick them out of class. He'd just be awkward at them and hope for the best.

"I hope so. I always worry a little."

He did that often.
