She might be a bit hampered by not precisely remembering which Earth fruit a lime was. Look, she preferred whisky over tequila, okay? And she wasn't much of a cook in her own galaxy.
She was fairly sure several of these were balls for various sports, so they were right out. Unfortunately, her first guess turned out to be a lemon, which was apparently an entirely different fruit?
Ugh, Earth and its stupid ecological diversity!
