Shop Class: [4/19]

When the students enter the shop class today they'll see that it has been turned into a Moobyland Restaurant. Coffee and Egg McMooby Muffins are available for everyone to partake of.

They'll also see that Mac has returned and is sans crutches and cast and looking mighty chipper.

"Good morning everyone! It's good to be back in Fandom and I hope everyone was good to Carter while I was gone."

"Today you have your choice of assignments. You can:

A. Devise a food container that will keep the hot parts of the McMooby burger hot while keeping the cool parts cool.
B. Devise a French Fry container that will eliminate fries from falling into the main part of the 'Carry out' bag.
C. Create your own Mooby themed fast food item."

"Alanna. It'll be fun! Seriously, he's gonna have a great time and so are you. He just needed a nudge. Y'know how it is when you're in a funk and you don't wanna go anywhere, and then your friends come along and drag you out and you end up having a good time."

"That was a nudge?" Sam laughed, "I'd hate to see what you call a push or a shove."

"Alanna, huh? She's very nice, plus she's a great fighter, from what I understand from hunting down Drusilla and Darla. I approve."

"I...actually don't know her at all other than from what I've heard. But she said yes. That's gotta be a good sign. And I guess I'll get to know her this weekend. Hey, can you do me a favor?"

"I guess?" After the words were out of her mouth, Sam realized she had to stop agreeing to do things before she knew what they were.

"So, are you taking her for dinner?" Sam didn't have a problem harassing Kawalsky, even if she was no longer mad at him. "Is Faithful going with you? Do you remember how to do this?"

"Dinner?" Damn, he was rusty at this. "Dinner. Right. I should probably book something for that. And the cat? I dunno. I didn't ask. I don't think so? It's been a long time, okay??" This was way more complicated than he remembered.

"Have you talked to her about these plans? Maybe she's already got something in mind?" Sam was suddenly feeling a little better about the whole prom thing. Misery loved company. "You'll be fine, I'm sure."

She grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a short note:

Also? If, your prom dance card has room for a faculty member on it, it'll help make it less awkward for Daniel and Janet to dance together.

She thought for a second, grinned, then added, Ten bucks if it's Daniel.
