"Much better than yours, evidently." Parker refrained from several falling-on-people comments, then said, "Teal deer, which you saw, and marshmellows, and Peeps, and, well. Jarod." She spun on her chair, smiling. "Can't complain. How did you guys defeat the Mole Men, then?"

"Well, they didn't want to blow up, so they ran away. I can't believe you saw a teal deer!"

"I talked for almost twenty minutes straight, if not longer. About StuCo. And Professor Lyman lying. And then I got onto weetiny bunnies at one point. They really do like long speeches. And bread." Parker grinned. "Angela was saying we should see if we can get one to be our mascot. And yay on running away-- blown up??"

"...okay? I guess? Since you're still here?" Parker checked Zero over again. "And mostly not injured?"

"...really glad I was camping." Parker shook her head. "And really glad you're all okay. Go, Cally. Go, you! You guys should get cake and medals for that."

"How bad is your arm hurt? When does the bandage come off?" Parker cocked her head. "Ice cream's on me, whatever the answer."

"It's just kinda sore. I'm taking the brace off tomorrow so the sibling units don't see it and freak out--Peter an' I are going to Flange tomorrow afternoon for his interview thingy."

"Ahh. Totally understandable. Is this the interview-someone-for-Journalism thingie? He's interviewing you?" Parker grinned. "That'll be a fun assignment."

Parker snorted. "Because he saw the Hopeless Savages special, and knows how well your mom can throw a punch? Should she feel moved to do so, that is."

"She's got no reason to! All the siblings'll be there, an' he doesn't seem to be worried about them. Even though Arsenal was ranked third in the world or something before she got pregnant. Would've been first, but things went all to hell at that tournament in Hong Kong."

"Well, he does have extra dodging ability. And with siblings, that's allowed. With parents, I think you're supposed to stand still and at least let them ask embarassing questions." Parker grinned. "And those Hong Kong judges can be harsh. Whatcha gonna do."

"No, it wasn't the judges, some guy got stabbed an' they thought Arsenal did it, an' they nicked her Claude, an' she thought she was pregnant, an' then she got hit in the stomach and...yeah. Never a day but there's drama."

Contemplating that, Parker said, "Can I come visit you over the summer sometime? I think I'd prefer your drama. Seriously."
