Library, Thursday 3/17

"I didn't know we had this many books with green covers," Belle said to herself when she entered the library. The library did have that many green books though, at least at the moment, or else they wouldn't be scattered all over the place.

The books weren't the problem. Belle was happy to peruse them while occasionally trying to round up and shelve some. The problem was that sometimes, out of nowhere, screams could be heard.

Were the screams coming from the books? From gremlins? From some sort of interdimensional portal? Belle had no idea. She just knew that she jumped every time she heard one of the screams and that she grew very, very tired of hearing them very, very quickly.

The library was open. It was just inexplicably full of screams.

RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES

Sometimes the screams are from inside the library. Sometimes the hallways. Sometimes the stairs. But there are always screams. Every. Single. Day.

I'm so tired.

My availability remains as terrible as everything else, so I'm slow.
