"Alright, guys!" When the class got to the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves on a beautiful planet in the early blue moments of pre-dawn, which, if you'd been paying any attention at all, you'd be able to assume was not everything it appeared to be. "So, the votes were in, and, overall, it seemed that the top choice for our escape to a new base was this one. The screaming sun planet. And, wouldn't you know it, we've arrived just in time for sunrise, too! So now we're going to live with our actions, and remember, we used the last of our fuel to get here, so....welcome to the new base, let's make the most of it."

With that, perfectly timed with Summer's conclusion, the horizon started to glow with the the golden touch of the rising sun, a faint and muffled sound rising as if from a far off distance, and, before long, that screaming sun was in full sight, the sound of it in full blast, and with no sign of letting up any time soon.

At least you were only here for a class period, though, right?

The sun is up and screaming along and we've got a new base camp to set up, so what do you do? How's it going? Is it actually not as bad as you thought it might be or is it actually way, way worse?

It turned out that a screaming sun planet actually wasn’t the best planet for a base after all but
Alara told herself that this was fine as she went about helping to set up the base…

Distracting herself by keeping busy helping set up the base worked for a bit but Alara was definitely regretting suggesting this planet as a base.

Ugh, Illyana had assumed there was some sort of cave system they could use to start, not be right outside the entire time. This was horrible.

She immediately tried to position herself in the middle of where everything was going on, sitting down, and digging her fingers into the ~~holographic~~ dirt as a focus.

"I hate everything about this, but I can get us an hour," she said, her eyes already bleeding into solid white. "So work fast."

She closed her eyes, and began muttering under her breath. "I summon forth the shielding powers of the Vishanti. To me, I bind the mists of the unnamed mages. I call upon the Winds of Watoomb, and the Shield of the Seraphim. Sorcerer's Sphere, I command... Ecnelis!"

There was a moment where it felt like the air ceased for half a second... and then there was a giant darkened dome, fifty feet by fifty feet, with Illyana as its centerpoint.

Anyone inside could see out, though those outside could not see in. People could pass through freely, though why they'd want to, Illyana had no idea. Because inside the dome? You couldn't hear anything going on outside it. Including the sun.

'Yana wasn't going to be available to help with anything else, but don't say she never did you any favors.

Toward the end of the class period, assuming no one's gone and done something to really throw off Summer's plans for how this particular class period is going to go, it appears as though a ship had slowly been descending onto the planet. As it lands, the hatch opens up and a scarred blonde woman with an undercut, a blue streak in her hair, and a lot of black clothing steps out and looks around before finding Summer.

"Here?" she asked. "Really? We thought for sure you'd have gone to the cob planet. Anyway, it's going to be a tight fit, but everyone on board. The calvary's here. We got your distress signal, let's get you guys out of here before your ears start to bleed or something."

You might have to shout, but Summer is there if you need to talk to her!

Or, well, telepathic communication is probably also an option, but that sun is so loud, that you'd have to probably shout telepathically, too.

I don't think I will ever get sick of screaming sun planet.
