Library, Thursday 11/18

Of course Belle had taken a job in the library when she realized they were available. She got to spend more time surrounded by books and be paid for her time. She couldn't ask for much more than that.

She was settled at the desk for the moment with a book on astronomy that had leapt off a shelf into her hands and opened itself up to a section on eclipses. A little additional research had revealed there was meant to be a lunar eclipse very early tomorrow morning.

A few other books had followed her to the desk, just in case she might need to know more about the moon or the sun or eclipses or various other astronomical things.

"It's the school's library! Perhaps the librarians. It's not mine."

She didn't have a library because no grumpy old sorcerers had gotten around to gifting her one (or two) yet!

"This won't stand," he informed her. Even though he'd probably be here again next week. For no reason.

To pick up a book. That's the only possible reason he'd come back, right?

"What exactly do you plan on doing about it?"

Yep, just for that book. Never mind him not talking to any of the other aides.

"I'll speak with your supervisor."

"Well, the point stands," Five said, snatching his glitter covered book back.

Belle rolled her eyes. Hard.

"Enjoy your book. Try and get the glitter out before you bring it back or it might infest the rest of the books and then where would we be?"

Covered in more glitter, most likely.
