Did Anakin look weirdly chipper today? It was because he was just so excited about field day! Really! There were a number of stations set up around the park ~~with varying degrees of ridiculousness~~ that would definitely not be funny only for people watching.

Cough. Really.

"We will be in three teams of nine today!" Anakin yelled into the bullhorn, "so come up and get your t-shirts!"

Whether everyone would stay clothed was another question. And no, Anakin had no idea where these clearly-intended-for-various-elementary-schools shirts came from and how they might only fit Beaker.

...they might only fit Beaker.

Beaker had definitely ordered these.

Barry was utterly and completely serious about this event. SO SERIOUS. He glared at the other team in utter seriousness verging on a scowl.

"We must win this!" He exclaimed. "Or there could be very dire consequences. Dire I say!"

"How dire?" Steve asked, pulling a weapon because sure, that was a good choice.

"Well, maybe not that dire," Barry groaned and smacked himself in the face. "Jesus. Put the gun away. We're not going to kill anyone here today."

Well. Maybe.

"Well, it's only tug of war, not actual war," Steve pointed out while inexplicably wearing his Navy dress uniform.

"Yes which is why we shouldn't be pulling out a fucking gun," Barry replied and then morphed into a city block in Brooklyn that was very shiny and iridescent.

"Hey, If we tie a rope to me right now I'm pretty sure we'll win," Barry's voice emanated from various sewer grates and traffic lights.

"What the hell?" Steve yelled back from his spot on the beach next to Danny.

"Beats the fuck out of me," Wee-Barry said looking like his 11 year self. "I have fucking nothing to do with this shit."

"Dude," Teen!Steve said. "That's a lot of cursing."

He was from prime time, Barry!

"Well I never really grew out of it," Barry replied seeming to be completely non-plussed about Steve rapidly deaging. If you didn't know better Barry looked completely stoned.

You were getting a finger waggling of an old who literally cursed like a sailor.

Barry shrugged. "Whatever old man. I'll say what I fucking want," he replied and went back to eating his cereal that randomly appeared.

"Where'd you get the cereal?" Steve asked as Danny stood next to him with some surfboards.

"I find that the metaphysics of this universe including time and space have little correlation than the spontaneous appearance of cereal and surfboards," Barry neighed. "Or randomly turning into a pony."

He sighed.

"Fucking island."

"Talking ponies are cool, though!" Steve, age 8, said. "I guess."

He was fairly emo for 8.

Stark was holding his mask with one hand, looking unhappy with the whole situation.

"What's going to happen?"

"I DON'T KNOW BUT I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE REALLY BAD!" Barry said putting on a pair of headphones and screaming out loud in panic.

Stark, wild-eyed, forced out an unpleasant laugh.

"Wonderful!"

"How is that wonderful?" Barry asked in shock.

Stark laughed again and held up the large gun that was suddenly in his hands. "It isn't!"

Barry was so shocked at the appearance of a gun he turned into Coney Island.

"I don't think there's any reason for firearms," Barry's voice echoed through the loudspeaker like a carnival barker.

Stark had not been expecting an island.

He also wasn't expecting to have a face full of green goo that had come from who knows where.

"What was that?"
