The good weather seemed to last throughout the day, but the bonfire was there to help with all your s'more needs all the same, much like all the other offerings of the food and drink tables.

Or maybe you just wanted to sit under a tree and judge people from afar. That was cool, too.

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"You always have the most fantastic outfits," Lana observed, smiling at Lydia. "They make me a little homesick."

"You know, I considered adding gloves and decided it was too much," Lydia admitted. Plus, you know. Picnic and all. "Do they go all out in other colors besides black where you're from?"

Lydia could occasionally be persuaded into a very dark blue, or the even more rare red.

"Black predominantly," Lana said. "Quite a bit of red. Sometimes gold or silver accents. Here."

She pulled out her holocomm and did a bit of searching. "These are some of the current fashions. They can get much more elaborate, but these are still meant to be work clothes, not court outfits."
