The good weather seemed to last throughout the day, but the bonfire was there to help with all your s'more needs all the same, much like all the other offerings of the food and drink tables.

Or maybe you just wanted to sit under a tree and judge people from afar. That was cool, too.

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Troy had filled his plate like a person who couldn't decide what they wanted to eat the most, because that was exactly what happened, and he got himself a drink and tried to carefully balance it all as he made his way to a table so he could enjoy it while trying to decide if he wanted to lean into a more social strategy of going out and talking to people or just sort of sit back and wait for the people to come to him.

The latter, after all, didn't exactly work as well at this school as it had at his old school...and the incoming class seemed pretty small, he could probably bust out meeting them all in, like, two seconds flat or something.
