Nick had not yet accepted that this island wasn't normal, so he was having a real hard time processing spending a weekend as a Beast with a weird cat face.

There would be drinking later, yes. It might lead to incomprehensible voicemails.

"Today I'm going to give you a prompt," Nick announced to the class, and then he took a minute to write THINGS THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN on the board in big letters. If you thought he'd process quietly, no. He would not. "I have written some things that have not happened on slips of paper you will pull out of a hat. I want a five page story about it by next week's class. You can start on it today."

You could start repressing immediately, is what he meant.

Since after class, Tahani would be writing a beautiful and heartfelt letter to Kate Middleton after sending her a "suck it, my prince isn't balding" note yesterday under the thrall of the island and a footman that had absolutely misrepresented his inheritance (but had lovely hair), Tahani would be stealing that wedding writing prompt right now, thank you ever so much.

Not interested in World War III or weddings and not really wanting to dive into the whole embarrassing thing...

Miles went with dinosaurs. Mostly because they are awesome.

Belle had no idea who Tom Selleck was. She also wasn't familiar with World Wars I and II.

The earth opening up and swallowing her whole when she was embarrassed seemed promising though. Not that her behavior this weekend had been all that embarrassing. She had mostly been delighted by objects singing and dancing and talking. But embarrassment was something everyone had some familiarity with.
