Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II
There were plenty of chairs and tables by the bonfire, and some further out on the lawn for anyone who might want to enjoy their food alone, or just gaze at the new folks and try to figure them out. All of these potential activities were valid!
[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
A look that, in Juillenne's world, was generally reserved for Queens. Or at least, it had been. That would probably change, now.
"How are you finding the place so far?" she asked. Forgive her if she didn't get up, Lydia, but it was a bit of a hassle with the crutch.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
But, that being said, she didn't hate it, and so Juillenne got a little smile in return. "I take it you're not new."

"Juillenne Milone." And then she nodded to the mountain cat currently making short work of a plate of boneless chicken wings. "And that is Camden."
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
Because she was loving everything she'd heard, so far.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
Jules had yet to have any trouble with them herself, personally, but she'd seen the effects often enough.
"Though," she added, after a moment's consideration. "Not a deadly type of venom. Hallucinogenic. It tends to make people do things they find horribly embarrassing upon recovery, but there are no lasting ill effects."

"They were here first," Lydia agreed. "It's not their fault we decided to move in, too. Do you know if there's anything that, like, really annoys them so I can be sure not to do it?"
Tacky sculptures? Ugly redecoration?

And take pictures of them when she saw them, which...you know, was how she'd gotten into the other mess, so the boots probably wouldn't save her.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
"Wise," she agreed, turning her head just a little to give the food table a good look-over. And... there went a piece of pie, whipping right past them and surely to meet its doom splattered on the back of some poor unsuspecting picnic-goers head.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
Also, there were other questions she had now, but she'd start with that one.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2021]
Funny how a gift that had evolved for use in combat was a struggle to adapt for 'getting snacks without having to get up' purposes.
