Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of chairs and tables by the bonfire, and some further out on the lawn for anyone who might want to enjoy their food alone, or just gaze at the new folks and try to figure them out. All of these potential activities were valid!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"My Christmas was casual," she said cheerfully. "But everyone loved their presents!!!!!!!!!"

Sure. Ignis loved being here to teach. Yup.

At least Noctis had genuinely loved his present.

"I was instrumental in reporting information that resulted in a drug bust," that was safe to say since she'd already told Julius that much, even if it left out most of the details, "and I had an unexpected hot date on New Year's Eve, so it was wonderful!!!!!!!!!! And you??????? How was yours????????"

"We're absolutely coming back around to the hot date," Tahani declared, "and I discovered that Kamilah had been dating and then dumped a member of an extremely dodgy British pop group and has dyed her hair pink. Mother, of course, declared it amazing."

Tahani could just imagine the reaction if she'd done that. It would not have been the same. "Oh, and the goose at Buckingham Palace was overcooked again this year."

Okay, Nina didn't say that, but only because she knew it was a sore spot with Tahani. And, okay, timelines were a thing, but Nina knew how to work around them when it came to internet gossip so she was totally going to be looking it up later because she bet it was fantastic.

(Kamilah always was!)

"Overcooked is better than undercooked," she said sympathetically. "There's that, at least, but you'd think they'd get it right in a palace!!!!!!!"
