"Hello again, everyone," Anakin said as the students filed into their usual extremelyl comfortable folding plastic chairs that were somehow always a little tippy. "Welcome back again to another thrilling assembly. Today we have a guest from off-island so I expect you to be on your best behavior."

Or at least not levitate the guy off the stage immediately!

"So, please welcome Dr. TC Callahan," Anakin concluded, reaching for the handy card from the front office, "here to speak about Emergency Field Medicine (or How to Save Other People At Great Personal Cost to Yourself)." Anakin's eyebrows drew together. "Huh."

He'd be sitting in the front, just in case.

"Patient number one is a young man with a visible head lac." TC pointed to his temple. "Blood's coming down his temple, but he's awake and responsive. Unfortunately . . . he doesn't speak English. So it's a little hard to gauge his mental state or ask for other symptoms. What do you do for him?"

"Find out what language he does speak?" Shuri replied.

“Ah! Good plan.” TC smiled at her. “You may recognize his occasional words as a dialect of Spanish.”

"My Spanish is fairly rusty," Shuri admitted. "How's yours?"

"Not as good as my Arabic." TC shrugged. "So . . . can't ask him complicated questions. What do you do instead?"
