Fuck Yeah Science! - Monday, Period One

Anyone entering the classroom would see a very large machine that was humming and crackling with energy.

"So. That was a fucking weekend, huh?" Barry said with a small smirk. "It's the kind of weekend where you wish you could go back in time and re-evaluate your choices. So today... we're going back in fucking time."

He made a gesture to follow before walking to the platform and disappearing from sight in a flash of light.

Sorry, kids. No Deloreans. No phone booths. No elaborate steampunk devices. Just step on and see where Barry is taking you.

Ooh, was this finally the class where Astrid could just sit back with a yawn and a ho-hum bored look on her face because time travel was definitely a been there, done that occurance for her?

Well, not quite, since the Jurassic Period was a bit of a step beyond just going back in time to the '90s, but at least time travel didn't feel weird, and she was far too into being able to sketch everything while she was there to be completely apathetic about the whole thing.

Wayne was, in general, on full on glowering squint mode in class that morning, on account of someone's Heist trap having made him not only blue fer most of the day on Halloween, but also blue and small for the evening, as well, but he despite a squint determined to last fer the entire class period, he couldn't really be all that mad if they were time traveling back to Jurassic times and what have you.

He was still stepping lightly, though. Say all you want about the butterfly things being bullshit, he didn't trust it! Just like he knew he shouldn't've trusted that hologram....

"Stepping on a butterfly?" He hadn't been worried about that before, but now he was wondering if he should be worried. He lifted up a foot, but didn't see anything with wings near the ground.
