Well, Adora had pulled a sword, so Illyana wasn't the only one in that boat...

The king was almost visibly deflating as Illyana kept talking. "I...ah...that is...couldn't someone else do all of that?" Yennefer made a 'keep going' hand gesture to Illyana, an approving look on her face.
