"Last week sparked some very interesting conversations," Anakin said as he paced around the room. "Let's keep that going. Christianity, one of this planet's major religions, takes a group of behaviors or habits that lead to other immoralities and call them, slightly overdramtically, the 'Seven Deadly Sins.' The seven sins are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth."

He smiled a little ruefully. "I know I've fallen victim to...most of them...over the course of my life, the emotions that can overwhelm you and lead to some monumentally stupid life choices."

And Anakin Skywalker knew from monumentally stupid life choices.

"There are some instincts that call to us more strongly than others, though: a favorite vice, if you would. There's a saying here that is as probably as old as this list of deadly sins: 'pride goes before a fall'. In my world, we put it slightly differently: 'Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.'"

He passed out a sheet of paper that gave ~~links to that wiki article up there~~ summaries of the deadly sins. "Now, which of these is your go-to? Where do you gravitate when you are angry or stressed? Do you think these behaviors are even all that negative? Can they be channeled into a positive direction?"

She hadn't expected him to say that it was basically a list she'd find in a trashy magazine.

"Is there a similar list for young ladies?????"

"And, like, are there quizzes to match people up with each other?????"

How far did the trashy magazine aspect go? She was honestly, genuinely curious.

"I don't think it would be appropriate for women, would it?" Wei Wuxian asked. If there was a women's list and his sister hadn't been ranked number one, he would have had to punch people. "I don't know of any quizzes. Is that a thing you do here? The list is sometimes mentioned when discussing marriage arrangements." And for gossiping.

"There's loads of quizzes here, to see who's your type or who you might be compatible with," she explained, choosing to ignore the appropriate for women thing.

But then, she was capable of throwing her own punches if she didn't like her ranking.

"Some of them are, like, better than others and most of them are just for fun?????? But there's lots of them!!!!!!

"Do you have them here?" Wei Wuxian asked. "The students or the teachers? Can I see them?"

"I...... actually don't know if Fandom has it's own listings," she admitted. "But, like, I don't see why we couldn't get a list going........"

Nina. Nina, this was why your brother worried what you'd get up to in your copious spare time.

"We could. We'd have to have a broad survey, of course." Wei Wuxian said. "What criteria should we use? They'd have to be unmarried. Looks would be a factor, and spiritual power." He frowned. "I think that might be measured differently here, though. What else?"

"Spiritual power is called a lot of different things," she said promptly, because when it came to magic, she had it down. "Despite that, there's ways of measuring each and every one of the ways it can be used. I think we could totally still use that???????

"Age would be a factor too-----large age differences are frowned upon in this world, and species would have to be included too," because had he seen Freya, "and things like what do you like to do, speak about, learn about, that sort of thing???????"

"A category for special talents?" Wei Wuxian asked. "Since I don't think the Six Arts are studied here."

"They're not," she admitted. "At least, if they are, they're not under that name. I don't supposed you'd be willing to elaborate on what they are later??????"

Because you had class, Nina?

"Because, like, category for special talents is a really good idea!!!!!!! And one of the things they should be ranked on would be..... versatility??????" she suggested. "Like, sometimes that one trick is exactly what you need!!!!! But a lot of times it pays to be flexible!!!!!!!!!"

"The Six Arts are rites, music, archery, charioteering, literacy, and numeracy," he said. "Versatility is a good idea! That's not always appreciated where I come from."

"I think, like, it goes back to the whole 'jack of all trades, master of none' idea," she admitted. "If someone's only okay at everything it's harder to compensate for their weaknesses and have their strengths compensate for yours, depending on the situation. It might be better to say that mastering at least one thing and knowing a bit of everything else is the best way to be...........""

"Yes, but mastering them all is the best," Wei Wuxian said.

She grinned at him.

"Yes, of course!!!!!!" That was obvious. At least, to her. "I'm Nina Argentum, by the way. It's nice to meet you!!!!!!!!"

"Wei Wuxian." He dipped his head and held out his hands pressed together and made a quick bow.
