Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

As the heat continued to bear down on the lawn, many of the tables and chairs were set up in the spots where there was shade, so no one got overheated or anything. That would be very rude for the first day in Fandom, after all.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"We did," Nell said, "But I'm not the best at well, mingling. "I'm Nell, Nell Ingram. I work at the flower shop and grow some plants and such back there and well... I thought I'd make up some packets and share 'em here with people who might be interested. Kind of a way to make me talk to people, you know?"

She reached in her bag and pulled out one of the tea samplers, then hesitated before pulling out a small bottle as well. "I also made up some lotions," she said. "For your hands or face? You're welcome to try one of them as well. S'all natural and such."

"Well, it's nice to actually get the chance to meet you, Nell," Tisarwat offered kindly, "and to have you be more than just a familiar face in passing. I have a friend I think might be more interested in the lotions, though, if you don't mind me taking it for her?

"How do you like working at the flower shop?" she added, unable to refuse the opportunity to get some perspective from one of Seivarden's employees, although Nell seemed very sweet, so she was pretty sure she'd only have nice things to day.

"Oh gosh, sure," Nell said, handing over the packet of tea and the lotion. "I hope she enjoys it. Do you think she'd like some tea as well? I can give you some more." Back home she'd sold her teas and lotions at the local farmer's market.

"The store?" Nell smiled. "Well, I love all the growing things. I'm prob'ly not the best at all the bouquets and stuff, but I'm serviceable and I'm good at making stuff grow, It's kinda weird at times, what with the flowers playin' music and stuff, but mostly just Fandom weird, and I have time to grow some of my own things. Oh, not that I sell any of my teas or lotions there! I wouldn't do that to Seivarden!"
