"Today," Jaye said, "we're going to talk about one of the most important decisions a person can make: selecting which movie to watch in class."

No, she didn't have a class prepared today, why do you ask?

"We're going to have a discussion on what makes a good class movie, and then we're going to pick one, as a class."

"What makes a good movie to show in class? Should you pretend it's educational? Should it actually be educational? Does length factor in? Discuss."

"It should pretend to be educational," Tahani agreed, "and it cannot be so interesting that when we don't get to the end of it--and you never do--you feel any kind of regret."

"Is it acceptable to pick up the movie in the next class?" Jaye asked.

"Yes, but you have to know that the students will realize that you're completely checked out," Tahani said.

"Anything involving hot tubs or time travel," Eleanor declared. "And if you put them both together..."

She made two circles with her hands with the circles intersecting with each other.

"Then you have zen."

It is not zen. However in the middle of this thought, Eleanor's face lit up with enlightenment.

"Annnnnnd since the movie is about time travel? Also about history. So its totally educational. Can I bring popcorn for next week? Just for myself of course."
