There was a catwalk set up in the center of the park today. Were you worried? Because you should be worried.

"In an effort to appease all of the animals on the island so they don't invade the next graduation," Anakin said, glaring at the representatives of said wildlife, "everyone, not just gremlins, will be a part of our fashion show."

He gestured at the tables full of fabric, yarn, cardboard, flowers, and other objects that could be turned into outfits if you squinted and tried really hard and were also trying to dress an alot. "You must make cohesive outfits for your animal based around a theme that each team will be given as their name."

The ugly t-shirt shipment had been delayed this week, unfortunately.

"You have several handwavey hours to get this finished and then we will all enjoy the outfits."

Well. Anakin would enjoy the outfits.

Look, by now Duke was well aware that he was entirely doomed to spend his Wednesdays doing something patently absurd. He was resigned to his lot in life.

This had gotten her handwavily gremlin-bit last year. The odds of that happening again this year were . . . high.

Mae had handful of food on sticks, and was sitting perched somewhere implausible with them, kicking her legs and pretending her stick-food was a set of claws.

Summer may have been a little bummed to not be involved with this one if it weren't for the fact that being a spectator was soooo much better. There would not be enough popcorn in the world...

Once again, Shunsui had shown up to simply spectate, find new ways to nap, or potentially soothe particularly injured spirits in the face of defeat, only to have all these well-made plans thwarted by his name being called out.

"I have just got to stop coming to these things," he murmured to no one in particular except perhaps his own dispirited self.

Prompto wasn't really here to participate, although the distraction would have been nice. He was just hoping (maybe against hope) that Nina had returned just as she left, which meant without a word, and, if not, that he could at least hope someone had some information about her disappearance where he did not.

Because, yeah, worried was far beyond an understatement by now...
