Now, to just start out, the teachers honestly did try to keep the glitter away, but somehow it just showed up once the word 'crafts' was uttered. So. Sorry for that, folks.

"It's in my coffee," Tony sighed, looking into his cup before reluctantly beginning. "Welcome to Arts and Crafts. My name for anyone new here is Tony Stark..."

"And I'm Steve Rogers," Steve said, smiling. "We didn't bring the glitter, it just appears, apparently, along with the crafts supplies we actually brought. Today we're going to make bird houses out of popsicle sticks."

Steve's example was a little more elaborate than strictly necessary.

"We could try making one's that those Porgs can fit in, but I have concerns about inviting them closer," Tony admitted. "Concept is simple, a box with a hole in it big enough for the bird, but not any predators. The art side is how you go from there."

"And then the other animals will protest like at graduation and we'll spend the summer trying to make a popsicle house that an alot can fit in," Steve said, "and no one wants that."

"So, lets get started and... maybe be careful of the glitter?" IT WAS IN HIS COFFEE.

There were a few new faces, after all.

Alluka beamed, leaning forward in her seat a bit when it was her turn to introduce herself. Today she was wearing a pink and white dress.

"I'm Alluka," she said, with a little wave. "I graduated last year and now I own Pixie Dust, one of the town's clothing shops!"

Did she look old enough to be in high school? Or have graduated and be running a business?

Definitely not.

Steve smiled anyway because it wasn't like he looked 100 years old, either. "Good to see you, Alluka. Do you like art or crafts better?"

Well, it was Fandom. So it wasn't too weird.

Much.

"Hello, Alluka," Tony said with a smile. "I hope you're prepared for the glitter transfer."

"Amaya Blackstone," Amaya offered with a nod and an ironic sort of grin at Tony and Steve and everyone else in the class. "Local blacksmith, weapons and shop teacher. Should be interesting, being on this side of the desk for a change, as it were."

"Well, it's just building with different materials," Tony replied. Because of course he'd think of it that way.

And that was what Amaya liked about you, Tony.

"And, let's face it," she added with a grin, "if I'm building something, I'm happy, no matter what the materials. So this should be fun."

So help her, when she starts adding engines to macaroni pictures, though....

DO IT. TONY WOULD HELP.

"That's the spirit! I'll try to convince Steve we should include a little metal working into the syllabus."

"It's fun," Steve said. "I took yoga earlier this week!"

"Now, I don't think I'd be much good at that one," Amaya noted. "Only thing I'm good at bending is steel."

"I'm Astrid," Astrid said, when it came around to her turn, with a smile that was a bit bigger than she'd expected, because maybe she was just glad to be in an artsy class with Captain Rogers again, shhh.

Maybe they'd even do sock puppets at some point.

"I don't think it'll surprise anyone who knows me that I'm in this class."

"Is it the glitter that lured you in?" Tony asked, sparkling ever so slightly. Because his life was this now.

"How could anyone not be?" asked Astrid, who even managed to laugh a little bit at it, which felt kind of nice, kind of good. She didn't really laugh that often these days, and she was definitely wondering how one might best capture glitter with watercolors for a...completely unrelated piece she might have to tackle once class was over.

You just toss some glitter at that watercolor, Astrid. Go for it.

"Then I think you are going to have a great time in this class."

Steve beamed at her. "I'm glad to see you anyway."

"Liam Kincaid-Price. I'm the Sheriff in town." Not that Fandom needed all that much Sheriff-ing, hence why the Troopers ended up doing things like turning the Station into a ball hockey arena. "This is my first time doing anything like this," by which he meant an arts and crafts workshop, and not, you know, things that were school-like in general, of course, "so we'll see how it goes."

"Sheriff," Tony replied with a nod. "I'm sure you'll do just fine with the crafts. When in doubt, just make it sparkly."

He came by that knowledge via Janet Van Dyne. So clearly it was the gospel truth.

"If you like what you made, it's good!" Steve said.

"I'm Stark," Stark said. No need, this time, to clarify he was just Stark and not Tony Stark.

"I went to school here once. And I'm teaching a workshop now. On cupcakes."

"I'm Nell Ingram," she said. "M'not quite sure how I ended up in this class, but it seems awful interesting."

There were all different kinds of popsicle sticks (colored and not), glue, paint, markers, and so much glitter.

There were also popsicles because Steve got hungry.

Having a popsicle while working on a popsicle bird house just made sense.

Also, she liked popsicles.

Alluka had a purple one and then got to work, carefully building her bird house out of alternate black and white popsicle sticks with the odd red on thrown in for a pop of colour.

The birds wouldn't care if it looked stylish but she would.

Good thing Stark enjoyed glitter. Maybe being a shiny sort of being made him enjoy shiny things. He was considering edible glitter for next week's cupcakes now.

He had some paints, gold glitter, and was humming absently to himself as he started to assemble something resembling a bird house.

Steve's already eating a popsicle.

And Tony was still looking mournfully at his coffee. He was gonna drink it, but he wasn't happy to.

Now I want to make a popsicle bird house.
