Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The good weather continued throughout the day, making it very comfortable to be out on the lawn. Who would want to miss such a nice picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

That was the important stuff, yes! Though the rest also gave Karolina a decen baseline.

"All true," she said, nodding. "But, this island's kind of a... multiversal hub? And that means we get a lot of different people from different kinds of worlds."

A pause, a little twisting of her lips as she considered her words.

"But also sometimes odd things just happen here? Like, it might rain candy or we might get, um, invaded by something."

"Huh," Julius said, brows contracting. "Wait. So all the other dimensions and planes and things are set up like a wheel? Or, probably a sphere, since we're talking three-dimensional space."

Well, a multi-dimensional three-dimensional space.

Ha ha, that was some dragon humor for you.

"But all rotating around a central point?"

Yeah, Karolina really didn't know. No one had ever really tried to figure it out quite in those terms around her before.

"All I know is that sometimes you might run into people here who know different versions of you from their worlds. I don't... really know how it all works when it comes to the science of it."

She was also from Marvel and therefore maybe more likely than most to just roll with it.

"Well, we know that travel to other planes is possible with very strong magic," Julius said, looking less likely to have his brain shattered by all of this, at least. "I guess that would make alternate dimensions make sense, too?"

He should have studied more magical theory.
