Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The good weather continued throughout the day, making it very comfortable to be out on the lawn. Who would want to miss such a nice picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

It was one siren call Octavia was really bad at resisting, after all.

"Ha yun, jaka," she replied, a faint note of mischief in her smile because her sliver of pride at her successful scheming was renewed now that he was here. "I usually come to these things, yeah."

"You do," Duke agreed. This was only his third welcome picnic, but one of their earliest interactions had been at a school-sponsored event, so he felt he was still an expert on the subject. "What's that look for? I have an eye for mischief, natshana, and that is definitely mischief in that look."

Just like she had to reach up for the quickest little kiss, too. For all her progress, this was still a little too public for her - but also she was in a good mood.

Octavia's lean against his side was light and subtle. But definitely happening.

“Met anyone interesting yet?” Duke asked. “I got myself a ‘teaching buddy’ who seems like he’s in about the same boat I was when I got here. Minus the literal boat.”
