Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The good weather continued throughout the day, making it very comfortable to be out on the lawn. Who would want to miss such a nice picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

This was definitely one of Grog's favorite days, and he was happily going through the food line for seconds, and thirds, and some fourths of things. A tall, shirtless, gray teenager was probably noticeable, but he was friendly, really!

Nell approached him gingerly. "Hello there. This is probably awful rude, but... you do look very grey. Are you alright?"

Grog laughed and looked down at himself. "I don't think that's rude, it's a good question. This is just what my people look like," he said. "I was always told it's so we can blend in where it's cold, but that might be stupid."

"I'm glad you'uns not offended," Nell said gratefully. She looked him over with a critical eye. "I guess I can see where you'uns might blend in during the wintertime, but wouldn't you be awful cold?"

"Oh, I don't really get cold. I mean, maybe if like, I was stuck inside a ice cube or something," Grog said. "But I'm warm all the time--here." He stuck his hand out to her so she could feel how warm it was. He also felt very polite and fancy, but that was probably just him.
