Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The good weather continued throughout the day, making it very comfortable to be out on the lawn. Who would want to miss such a nice picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Finding new sibling was a success! And it, like, turned out that she was Prompto's sibling from last semester that never properly arrived!

Which meant she'd texted that news to her brother and then grabbed herself a plateful of foods--mostly healthier ones: apple slices, grapes, celery, carrot sticks--and found a place to avidly watch everyone.

Her blindingly pink bedazzled megaphone was beside her, a mute testament that she may be temporarily quiet but that she was not liable to stay quiet!

"It was Prompto's idea??????????????????" she said, throwing her brother, er, under the bus?

Then Nina started giggling.

"He did a really good job on the hydraulics," Nina agreed, with another laugh. "I promise, like, I'll come by and take the panels off later????????????????????"

She needed those back, Anakin! If she didn't get them she wouldn't get a custom shirt light!

"You look happy," Nell said as she came across Nina. Not that Nina didn't usually look happy, but it still could stand to be said.

Nell smiled at her and tucked her skirts under her carefully as she sat down. "I might have a grape or two."

She looked over. "So what makes you particularly happy today?"

That was always call for a good day.

"And my new sibling seems, like, totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'm kind of sad now that I've never been involved with a bus shenanigan," Nell said with a grin. "And I'm glad you've got a good roommate."

"Sibling," Nina corrected, swiftly and with a smile that hid the pang those words caused her. Vette was an awesome roommate.

She... she also wasn't around these days and Nina was so not okay with that.

"New sibling," she said, "and, like, the Bus Shenanigan's are for Diamonds only but, like, I can totally rope you into other mayhem, if you're cool with that???????????????????"

"Sorry," Nell said. [Her Mun was soooo tired!] "That's what I meant to say."

She gave Nina a curious look. "I don't know what a Diamond is - other than a really expensive rock and I'm guessing that's not what you mean. But I might be interested in other stuff if it's not bad stuff."

"It's okay," she said, with another smile. "And, like, my brother, Vette and I formed a gang we've called the 'Drama Diamonds'. So like, bus shenanigans are reserved for members of our gangs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Nina looked down, tracing a diamond shape on the table.

"But, like, I'll totally keep you in mind next time I'm up to something," she promised. "Most of my things aren't bad if you've got a sense of humour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

After all, Nina wasn't out to hurt people. Or humiliate them. She was just having fun.

Nell bit her lip, then took a chance. "Iffn you need someone who can do interesting things with plants, let me know. I've been practicing a little."

She smiled at her shyly. "It's kind of fun."
