Shop Class, Wednesday

As the students walked into the classroom, they should notice that there are several stations set up. At each station is a different kind of mechanical lock, and a set of lockpicking tools.

Sam was sitting on one of the desks, swinging her feet and fiddling with her own tools. "Morning. Each of you has a lock and set of lockpicking tools. You also have a printed manual with some how to instructions."

"For those of you not familiar with picking locks, look the material over and practice on your lock. For those of you who already know what you're doing," she smirked, "please review the material and see if you can help someone else. Or, if you get bored, I've got a stopwatch or you can compete against the other people who know what they're doing."

"Make sure you know what you're doing on different kinds of locks, though--I've got something in mind for Monday."

Kawalsky pulled up his shirt sleeve and flexed his muscles. "Brawn's my thing, but I'm trying the brain thing. Except Arthurian Traditions. I'm never gonna pass that class. But come on, Doc," Charlie grinned. "You gotta get those muscles bulked up at least a little. How else are you gonna beat up the frosh when he tries to challenge you again? You've got the skill, just no endurance."

"Well, Arthurian would be sorta cool with all of the knights and everything. There's just the little problem of Mr Snaketacular telling the students to kneel before their god." Not that he'd actually ever done that, but Kawalsky was at the stage of embellishing when it came to Camulus. "As for training," he grinned. "I'll make it fun. No drill sergeant act for you, I swear."

"She did what?"

"Sam. You never have to do that kind of thing alone. I get why you wanted to go one-on-one with her, but next time make sure you've got back-up. She didn't strangle you, since you're here alive and well, but she could've. Then what good would've come of it? She'd be on the loose and you'd be dead. Get back-up, okay? I'd miss you."

"No problem. We 'saving the world' types have gotta stick together, right?"

"Well, I was hoping you'd do it for me, but there's that whole 'you're the teacher now' thing getting in the way."

"I could've bribed you. Jack told me you like blue jello."
