How To Be Civilized, Friday, Period 3
"This week we're going to have an easy class," Seivarden said, smiling at the students. "This might seem like a silly thing, but as I know most people on the island have a problem with it, I felt it needed to be adressed."
She gestured at a table where food has been arranged, a selection similar to what you would find at a Fandom picnic. Mainly finger food.
"Never, ever, eat food with bare hands. Not even with a knife and fork of course, but definitely not finger food. There's cutlery available, although of course you can eat pastries with your hands, but don't stain your gloves like a five year old."
Looking around the classroom, Seivarden continued: "Well, that should be easy enough. And of course there's tea for you all."

Re: Talk to the TA
"There's pizza," she said, witheringly, knowing she didn't need to elaborate, nor would she want to. "But at least the breakfasts on Monday morning are almost always foods that are best eaten with cutlery, though not everyone always does, and it's appaling how some people don't even think to use a napkin after they've eaten something messy with their hands."
Please don't make her elaborate on what they did instead, Seivarden. This was a classroom.
"I mostly just avoid the common rooms, though, if I'm eating. Except for breakfast on Monday, because that's tradition."
And now she was wondering if she should disclose to Seivarden the horror that was Wayne's tea drinking habits, but there was probably enough disturbing content going on for one day.
Re: Talk to the TA
Seivarden made a face.
"What do they do with their hands?"
She wasn't sure she wanted to know.
Re: Talk to the TA
She was fairly sure Eleanor wasn't even here any more, and yet Eleanor would always live on in her nightmares.
Re: Talk to the TA
Seivarden felt sorry for her.
