Lana didn't have a new sibling this term, so she'd skipped the picnic, but from what she was hearing, the new people had never shown up? And there was a low hum of anger and worry on the island today.

So she was at the library as usual, meditating to try to pin things down. Which would be easier without books climbing on her, granted.

If anybody showed up, though, they could still get help. The library was open!

"Mr. Stark is missing, too?" Lana got up from the floor and carefully took the book off her shoulder and set it on a table. "I haven't heard anything yet. What happened?"

"He opened that box," Steve said, pointing to one that looked like it might have been kicked in frustration by a super-soldier last night, "--and disappeared at the picnic yesterday."

Lana eyed the box, feeling out for it in the Force, but it sat there, innocuous and...well, boxy. "What was in it?"

"I have no idea," Steve said. "Tony opened it and disappeared. All the boxes I opened just had...things in them. It's weird that we're still getting gifts even after Christmas, right?"

"Is it?" Lana asked. She had no idea.

"Stand back, and I'll open it." She waved Steve away from the box, stood well back herself, and reached out with the Force.
